Feeling a huge love for Venice, its history, and its icons, I dedicate this project to the city.

The lamp is a lighthouse and the beating heart of the non-touristic Venice and its islands. It watches over the citizens, their customs, and traditions (represented by the three lamps), and it is protected thanks to the waters of the lagoon.

Its real location's the meeting point between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca Canal, facing San Marco and the Castello district.

The neon portal (in the shape of a Venetian rose window), reveals a dreamlike setting: it's nothing but a portal between the present and the rich and radiant past of Venice, a past that will soon come out of the fog making Venice shine again.

I chose to give mysterious and nostalgic vibes, typically icons of symbolism poetics, also getting inspiration from modern artwork such as the Sci-Fi style for the visuals.
